We at Beltran’s Nursery and Landscape have spent 30-plus years passionately extending native plants and trees to the entire region of Southwest Florida. We are happy to support residential and commercial landscaping efforts.

Our tree farm on Pine Island is a terrific environment for giving palm trees a healthy start. Temperatures are stable year-round, and humidity is high. These factors make it possible for palms to max out on growth.

The popular palm trees that we offer include the Areca, Adonidia, Foxtail, Bismarckia, and Pygmy Date palm trees.

Areca Palm

The Areca palm is often referred to as the Butterfly Palm. This tree offers the benefit of a dense canopy and a moderate growth rate. The benefits of privacy, shade, and even dust filtering comes from lining a property with a row of Areca palm trees.

Adonidia Palm

The Adonidia palm tree is also called the Christmas Palm because of the decorative red berries that spring up annually around the time of the holidays. This tree is a slow grower that maxes out at 12-15’. Landscapers working in smaller yards or who require trees to plant as part of a grouping will find success with Adonidia palms.

Foxtail Palm

The Foxtail palm grows quickly to max out at heights of 30’ or so. They can be planted as single specimen or as a grouping. The fronds are full and fluffy, reminiscent of a fox’s tail.

Bismarckia Palm

A Bismarckia palm tree’s fronds grow like a fan and have a silvery, blueish tint. The tree’s trunk is thick and grows to a max height of 60’. The roots and canopy system will be quite large, so planters must be sure to allocate plenty of empty room for future expansion.

Pygmy Date Palm

The perfect tropical patio decoration, the Pygmy date palm tree is safer to plant near structures since the root systems don’t destroy the foundation. The max height of this slow-growing tree is around 12’. Whether this tree is used as a single unit within a smaller yard or as part of a grouping in a larger space, this small palm tree is hardy and easy to maintain.

With trees of all sizes and stages of maturation, Beltran’s Nursery and Landscape can honor every project’s design and budget. Whether you, as a landscape contractor, require a single palm or hundreds, count on us to dig and deliver safely and in a timely fashion.
