Citrus groves dot the landscapes of Florida. The beautiful sunny skies and warm weather make growing citrus trees for fruit a great investment. If you’re in need of multiple citrus trees for commercial or residential purposes, consider buying a wholesale lot from Beltran’s Nursery and Landscape.

When Quality Counts

The farm from where your trees come is critical to your citrus trees’ success. Beltran’s Nursery and Landscape offers closely monitored and grown citrus, palm, and shade trees as well as native grown plants and shrubs. We have 30 years of experience and knowledge that makes it possible for us to offer healthy, pest- and disease-free trees and plants. An order from us is an order for quality and effortless growing citrus trees.

Choosing the Best Citrus Trees to Meet Your Plans

The citrus trees that you choose should be in keeping with your plans, preferences, and the plot of land where they’ll be planted. The flavor of fruit you prefer will matter, but so does the size of the tree and the type of soil it needs. Beltran’s Nursery and Landscape is happy to provide a range of citrus tree varieties to meet the demands of our customers here in Southwest Florida.

Tangelo – A tree that blends tangerine and grapefruit, the tangelo grows a tasty and juicy fruit. Growing this tree works best when planted with protection from northern winds provided by buildings or other trees. Since this tree needs another for pollination, you should plant a mandarin orange tree or other citrus near it for pollination. In the first few years, don’t skimp on watering. It will take a few years to develop drought tolerant abilities.

Orange – Fresh-squeezed orange juice at the breakfast table is always a treat! Orange trees require plenty of space to grow. Heights can reach 25 feet, and the canopy and root systems will require a similar amount of clearance for future growth as well. Failing to provide the required space can result in busted foundations, power line interference, and other problems. In addition to the delicious fruit this tree offers, you’ll also gain aesthetic benefits from the brilliant greenery and white blossoms.

Lemon – Nothing smells quite as fresh and clean as lemons. The scent of lemon trees and easy access to homemade lemonade are two benefits of growing your own lemon trees. This type of tree needs plenty of water and sun exposure and regular fertilizer applications to grow well. If cared for properly, you can see fresh lemons sprout in as little as 3 years from planting!

Cocktail Trees – A variety of fruits growing on one tree is possible with a cocktail tree. On it, you’ll find lemons, grapefruits, limes, oranges, and tangerines. Beltran’s Nursery and Landscape can supply a fresh and healthy specimen ideal for display on your patio. Start a conversation or simply enjoy a bit of variety in your diet of fruit with cocktail trees.
